Calmatic (b. 1987) is a filmmaker and artist from South Central Los Angeles. In 1992 he survived the L.A. Riots and he prefers Suga Free over Mozart. He’s done a few cool things with people and brands like Apple, LeBron James, Facebook, Kendrick Lamar, Issa Rae, Google, Target, Anderson .Paak, Cash App, Kai Cent, damn near every current NBA All-Star, Sprite, Turbo Tax, McDonalds, pgLang, Mountain Dew, Lil Nas X and The Rolling Stones just to name too many for a bio. In 2020 he won Ad Age’s "Director of The Year” award (probably the only time he’ll beat Spike Jonze at anything). Oh yeah, you can call him Chuck if you want, it’s all good, he ain’t gon’ trip. So yeah… hit him up if you want to work. In the meantime watch this interview he did recently, it’s super dope.
